METUCHEN — On Thursday, Dec. 13, Edgar Middle School in Metuchen held its annual finals of the local 2012-2013 Geography Bee. The four finalists who participated in two rounds of questions (round one-US Geography and round two-World Geography) were: Siri Uppuluri Anton Popov, Shivani Pandey, Nirmal Prakash. Fending off a fierce challenge and repeating as champion, was eighth grader, Siri Uppuluri. Social studies teacher Ken Graf served as moderator, and a number of teachers served as judges. Uppuluri is now eligible to move on to the state level.
