Clark Police Blotter: Officers Make Possession Arrests

Dec. 10 at 12:02 p.m. – In the vicinity of the Garden State Parkway northbound connector, Officer Ricardo Oliveira arrested Newark resident Devon Bridgers, 38, on an outstanding warrant from the Essex County Sheriff’s Department for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the Essex County Sheriff’s Department.

Dec. 10 at 10:29 p.m. – In the vicinity of James Avenue, Sgt. Patrick Grady arrested Plainfield resident Donna Laferrara, 34, and charged her with possession of CDS and driving with a suspended license. She was also detained on an outstanding warrant from New Brunswick for contempt of court. She was subsequently turned over to the New Brunswick Police Department and transported to the Middlesex County Jail.

Dec. 11 at 11:12 a.m. – In the vicinity of Lake Avenue, Officer Ricardo Oliveira arrested Plainfield resident Jazman Allen, 26, and charged him with possession of CDS with intent to distribute, possession of CDS paraphernalia and unlawful possession of a weapon. He was also issued several summonses for motor vehicle violations. Bail was set at $117,500, and he was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail.

Dec. 12 at 12:02 p.m. – In the vicinity of 60 Walnut Avenue, Officer Kenneth Gaulette arrested Rahway resident Richard Lindemann, Jr., 33, and charged him with possession of CDS. He was also detained on outstanding warrants from Clark, Newark and South Plainfield for contempt of court. After posting bail on the open warrants, he was subsequently released pending a court date.

Dec. 12 at 9:22 a.m. – At Headquarters, Officer Dan Pitts arrested Iselin resident Tara Murphy, 38, on an outstanding warrant from Middletown for contempt of court. She was subsequently turned over to the Middletown Police Department.

Dec. 12 at 5:29 p.m. – At Headquarters, Det. George Marmarou arrested Rahway resident Jeffrey Wietry, 29, and charged him with criminal mischief. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date.

Dec. 12 at 9:32 p.m. – In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, Officer Kenneth Gaulette arrested Newark resident Delio Coutinho, 50, on outstanding warrants from Elizabeth, Linden, Manahawkin, Millburn, Newark, Springfield, Union and Woodbridge for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the Union Township Police Department.

Dec. 13 at 8:56 a.m. – In the vicinity of Valley Road, Det. Antonio Manata arrested Irvington resident Lamont McCall, 33, on an outstanding warrant from the Essex County Sheriff’s Department for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the Essex County Sheriff’s Department.

Dec. 13 at 11:56 p.m. – In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, Officer Christian Lott arrested Paterson resident Abdallah Jaber, 29, and charged him with possession of CDS. He was also detained on outstanding warrants totaling $1,585 from Clifton, Elmwood Park, Paterson and Wayne, New Jersey for contempt of court. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance on the Clark charges pending a court date and after posting bail on the warrants.
