CLARK – Third Grade Brownie Troop #40537, from Frank K. Hehnly Elementary School in Clark, recently spent an afternoon learning about health and nutrition, as they earned their “My Best Self” Brownie Badge. The girls visited “Feel Good Fitness” in Roselle for a 30-minute Zumba class, with instructor Tina Cristiano. After their class, Registered Dietitian, Lauren Purdy, spoke to the girls about healthy eating for proper nutrition. Purdy, who works regularly with Clark residents in her position as in-store registered dietitian at ShopRite of Clark, brought foods for the girls to try representing different vitamins they should include in their diet.
