EAST BRUNSWICK — Playhouse 22 will be having open auditions for its production of “The Uninvited,” directed by Bob Gargiullo, on Wednesday, Jan. 2 and Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, both at 7 p.m. Callbacks (by invitation only) to be held on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013.
The show dates are Feb. 15 – March 3, 2013. All shows are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Auditions will be held at the East Brunswick Community Arts Center, 721 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, NJ 08816.
Seeking to escape the demands of life in London, Pam Fitzgerald and her brother, Roddy, an aspiring playwright, discover a charming house in the west of England, overlooking the Irish Sea. The house, Cliff End, has long been empty, and they are able to purchase it at a suspiciously low price from crusty Commander Brooke, the village curmudgeon. The reason is soon apparent: The house has an unsavory reputation. Fifteen years earlier a murder may or may not have occurred by the cliff overlooking the sea.
