CLARK — Students in Miss Faro’s mathematics classes at the Carl H. Kumpf Middle School in Clark each created a mathematics goal that they wanted to complete before the end of the year. All students wrote their goal on a piece of paper and as a class, they linked them together to be displayed in the classroom as a constant reminder. The goals varied from receiving an A for each marking period, to making Principal’s List, to moving to an honors for the next year. After the first marking period, students were able to go to the back of the room, find their goal and reflect on what they have done thus far to achieve it. Students will continue to keep their goals in mind for the remainder of the year. In the picture above, Dylan Ringwood, Christopher Cundari and Raphael Mirassol, look for their goal on the display.
