DUNELLEN — All-star pro wrestling makes its final appearance in the Dunellen area this Saturday, Dec. 15, at 7:35 p.m. as tri-state pro wrestling promotion National Pro Wrestling Superstars returns to the Dunellen Knights Of Columbus Hall, 647 Grove Street, just off Washington Avenue and Route 28, for its annual “Jingle Brawl.”
And NPWS plans to end the year on a definite high note, not only with their standout regional and local pro mat stars, but joining them for this special event will be a plethora of lovely and talented lady wrestlers from sister promotion Women Superstars Uncensored, plus a pair of TNA/Impact Wrestling TV knockouts in an inter-gender tag-team main event match, as the duo of Madison Rayne & NPWS Hardcore Champion “The Cold-Hearted Playa” Danny Demanto will face the challenge of Rosita & high-flying Chikara Pro Wrestling star Frightmare. Anything can happen in this kind of matchup, so you don’t want to miss it!
And even though the holidays encourage good will towards our fellow human beings, there will be anything but that in Dunellen as several grudges will be settled that night. One huge tag-team grudge match involves former ECW TV wrestling hardcore icon John “Balls” Mahoney, who will team up with “The Warrior” Jack Spade to take on Mahoney’s arch-rival Johnny Candido (the younger brother of the late ECW & WWE star Chris Candido) and his partner and local favorite Jeff Cannonball” Guerrero. This long-standing feud between the Mahoney and Candido families has taken a violent turn as of late, and nobody knows what will happen that night.
The lovely ladies of NPWS’ sister promotion Women Superstars Uncensored will also be in action that night, with such lovely lady warriors as Lucious Latasha, Barbie, Chrissy Rivera, Kimber Lee, Tina San Antonio, and Jennifer Cruz. There will also be appearances by NPWS Cruiserweight Champion “Mr. Entertainment” J.D. Smoothie, “Mr. Varisty” Jeff Noyze, Eddie “Spaghetti” Franken, “Stylin'” Brandon Kirk, the debut appearance of Chris “Mad Dog” Russo, and much more.
