[PHOTO] Clark 4th Graders Help Kids In Reach The Beach

CLARK – In the spirit of the holidays, fourth grade students in Frank K. Hehnly Elementary School in Clark, decided to donate their class gift money to charity rather than receive gifts themselves. Teacher Ellen Tamburino also chose to donate her holiday class gift money. The class participated in “Kids Helping Kids for Operation Reach the Beach”. K-Kids, under the direction of school nurse, Donna Kircher, decorated brown paper bags and filled them with various toys, treats and gift cards for the children affected by Hurricane Sandy. Operation Reach the Beach will be delivering them to children in all areas affected by the hurricane during the holiday season. The money from Tamburino and her class was used to purchase various gift cards for the holiday bags. (Photo courtesy of Hehnly School)
