MONROE — Jewish Family and Vocational Service of Middlesex County (JFVS) a nonprofit social service organization, is in immediate need of volunteer drivers to deliver meals to homebound seniors in Monroe Township.

This vital program supports vulnerable individuals who can no longer shop or prepare meals on their own. Every week, JFVS volunteers deliver 550 nutritious, hot kosher meals throughout the county. Volunteers can drive alone or with a “jumper.” There are a number of available routes and each route takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. Volunteer schedules are flexible.

Contact Joanne at Jewish Family and Vocational Service of Middlesex County for a volunteer application by calling 1-732-777-1940.
