Program Helps Uninsured Kids Get Glasses

PERTH AMBOY – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Perth Amboy have partnered with a charity organization that provides free eye exams and free eyeglasses to low income uninsured children.

Sight For Students operates nationwide through a network of community partners who identify children in need and doctors who provide eye care services. Children must meet certain eligibility requirements, including family income less than 200% of the poverty level, and cannot be enrolled in Medicaid.
