METUCHEN — Candace Ehmann a first grade teacher at Metuchen’s Campbell School, recently brought donations of goods and toys to Kathy Kirk, a teacher at the preschool in Highlands. Ehmann commented on how Kirk “told me how terrible it is there at this time.” Ehmann added, “She even said some kids are asking how Santa will know where they are if they don’t have a home.” Metuchen Superintendent Vince Caputo said he was thrilled that Ehmann had spearheaded this effort at Campbell School. Ehmann was extremely proud of the students at Campbell and said, “I am so thankful that we were able to help this school on their road to recovery!” Pictured above, Student Council President Lily Almeida and teacher Candace Ehmann pose for a photo next to the donated items.
