Rahway Teen Wins Arcadia University Award

GLENSIDE, Pa.— Sally Elsakary, a resident of Rahway and a student at Union County Magnet High School, has earned an annual Arcadia University Achievement Award of $1,000. Elsakary was one of five winners of the essay contest at an October Arcadia undergraduate open house that she attended.

The essay answered the question, “If you had a scholarship to travel and pursue an academic interest of your choice, where would you go, what would you study and why?”

The award is valid for up to four years of full-time undergraduate study at Arcadia, including semesters studying abroad.

Arcadia University is a private university in metropolitan Philadelphia.
