RAHWAY — The Blue and Gold Club is a community service club at Franklin Elementary School in Rahway which focuses on various projects throughout the year. The school’s nurse, Barbara Maher, runs the club. Students involved in this club, volunteer their time to help collect and organize for the club’s various projects, while consequently, strengthening their sense of civic engagement and nationalism as well as meeting educational, developmental, and social goals.
