RAHWAY — Alejandro Vargas, a fifth grade student at Franklin Elementary School in Rahway, was recently chosen to be November’s ‘Principal for the Day’. Each month, the school recognizes one student that demonstrates outstanding character traits and academic excellence. Vargas had a busy day checking emails and making rounds throughout the building. He also was treated to lunch by the school’s principal, Arina Robinson.
