ROSELLE PARK–On Monday, Dec. 10 from 6 – 7:30 p.m., digital artist Leona M Seufert will hold a free workshop at the Roselle Park Veterans Memorial Library demonstrating how she creates her “Digital Gems” jewelry. The library is located at 404 Chestnut Street, Roselle Park. To register, call 1-908-241-5874 or e-mail Studio-L@att.net

Taught by digital artist and jewelry maker Leona M Seufert, you will discover how simple printouts of images from your computer and materials found around the home can be turned into lovely pins and pendants.

Seufert will explain how she makes her “tiny works of art” incorporating these “digital gems” and everyone will have a chance to try their hand at making a pin.

Bring a few prints (they can be from your computer printer or from photographs), some doodads like ribbon, beads or old jewelry, (Seufert will provide the rest) and after this 1 ½ hr you will leave with a unique piece of jewelry and ideas as to how to make more.

Seufert currently has a solo exhibit “Digital Gems” of photographs of her line of jewelry, at the Casano Community Center Art Gallery, 314 Chestnut Street, Roselle Park.
