Rahway High Student Debaters Score Wins at Regional Tournament

RAHWAY — The Rahway High School Debate Team participated in a regional tournament of the Newark Catholic Forensic League held at Millburn High School on Saturday, Oct. 27. Twelve Rahway students attended, competing in five teams in the Public Forum category.

Each team competed in four rounds of debates against teams from Millburn, Union Catholic, Randolph, Pingry, Newark Science, Montville and Livingston, with Rahway students winning seven debates overall and outscoring opponents in two other debates. The next debate is scheduled for Dec.15 at Union Catholic High School.
