Classical Concert Series Continues In 2013

RAHWAY – The “(Seriously) Good Music Mostly Classical” concert series continues in 2013 at the Hamilton Stage, with the final show scheduled for April 14. For the inaugural season, producer James Luce has curated a uniquely individual series – separate concerts featuring some of the most important musicians in music today.

All of concerts will take place at the brand new Hamilton Stage For The Performing Arts facility located at 360 Hamilton Street in the heart of the Rahway Arts District.

“(Seriously) Good Music Mostly Classical” is produced by The Luce Group and funded by the RSI Bank. The inaugural season continues in 2013:

Thursday, Jan. 10 at 8 p.m. – GOLDBERG VARIATIONS / Simone Dinnerstein

Sunday, Jan. 20 at 4 p.m. – COMPOSERS COLLABORATIVE / Ursula Oppens – “Innovation/Tradition” and Jed Distler – “Plays Bill Evans”

Sunday, Feb. 3 at 4 p.m. – BEETHOVEN’S GENIUS / Daria Rabotkina – “Diabelli Variations,” Sebastian Baverstram/Yannick Rafalimana, Michael Brown

Sunday, March 24 at 4 p.m. – BEYOND THE BLUE / Tessa Souter

Sunday, April 14 at 4 p.m. – PROFOUND PIANO / Ilya Yakushev
