Choreographed by Bethany Marc-Aurele, this production is set in the turn of the 18th century and is filled with 50 dancers, stunning props and elaborate costumes. With scores of children, mice and soldiers this spectacular achievement offers a perfect compliment to Tchaikovsky’s glorious musical score. See leaping Russians, toy soldiers, and the beautiful Sugar Plum Fairy as a young child’s holiday dream comes to life before your eyes.
“The Nutcracker” will open Saturday, Dec. 8 at 1 p.m. at the Hoboken High School. A reception will take place at noon and will include a silent auction, bake sale and light refreshments. All proceeds will be donated to the Hoboken Relief Fund.
