FREEHOLD – iPlay America is teaming with CentraState Medical Center and the original Springsteen tribute band, the B Street Band, to support those affected by Hurricane Sandy. All of the proceeds from the band’s performance this Saturday, Nov. 17 at iPlay America’s Encore Center will be donated to the United Way for Hurricane Sandy relief.
The evening starts off at 8 p.m. with the band License to Kill followed by B Street Band. Tickets for the benefit show are $20 each and may be purchased online at www.EventsAtEncore.com or by calling the box office at 1-732-577-8200.
The B Street Band is well known as the original Springsteen tribute band and has been performing to sell out crowds since the early 80’s. With Springsteen lookalike Glenn Stuart out in front, the B Street Band brings the great sounds – and sights – of Springsteen to the stage…along with musical tributes to the legendary Roy Orbinson, Billy Joel, 70’s Disco, and Motown to Tom Petty and John Mellencamp.
“We know how people are still hurting in the state of New Jersey and the metropolitan area,” said iPlay America Chief Operating Officer and General Manager Gary Foley. “iPlay America is just doing its small part to the help our community. We are very pleased to team with United Way and CentraState Medical Center. This should be a fun evening where everyone will be lending a helping hand.
