LINDEN — As part of the first grade science curriculum, students in Miss Petrin’s and Mrs. Nahmias’s first grade class at School No. 2 became gardeners last month. They planted different kinds of seeds, grasses, and roots; watered them, weeded them, cut them, and watched them grow. One student even brought in sprouts from home for the rest of the students in the class to plant.
