Clark Police Blotter: Three Arrested On Theft Conspiracy Charge

All individuals arrested and charged with crimes are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court. 

Nov. 3 at 6:15 p.m. – At 76 Central Avenue, Officers Brian Soos and Kenneth Gaulette arrested three men. Piscataway resident Jeffrey Teal, 33, was charged with possession of narcotics paraphernalia and conspiracy to commit theft. South Amboy resident Mark Alexander, 49, was charged with conspiracy to commit theft. Piscataway resident Matthew Burr, 33, was charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, conspiracy to commit theft, resisting arrest and shoplifting. All three men were subsequently transported to the Union County Jail.

Nov. 9 at 10:52 p.m. – Officer Christian Lott investigated a report of a stolen motor vehicle at an address on the 1400 block of Raritan Road.

Nov. 10 at 2:46 a.m. – In the vicinity of Central Avenue, Officer Christian Lott arrested Westfield resident Frank Pepe, 33, and charged him with DWI. He was subsequently released pending a court date.

Nov. 10 at 4:25 a.m. – In the vicinity of Raritan Road, Officer Keith Meehan arrested Fanwood resident Francois Simeone, 47, and charged him with DWI. He was subsequently released pending a court date.

Nov. 12 at 6:28 a.m. – Officer Omer Olmeda investigated an attempted burglary to a residence at Stemmer Drive.

Nov. 12 at 1:36 p.m. – At Headquarters, Officer Christopher Tuccio arrested Newark resident Michael York, 29, on an outstanding warrant from the Essex County Sheriff’s Department for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the Essex County Sheriff’s Department.

Nov. 12 at 8:20 p.m. – In the vicinity of the 1000 block of Raritan Road, Officer Pedro Oliveira arrested Clark resident Eryka Underwood, 18, and charged her with possession of CDS and possession of CDS paraphernalia. She was subsequently released pending a court date.

Nov. 12 at 10:26 p.m. – Officer Brian Soos investigated a report of a theft of items from a locker at Bally’s Total Fitness at 140 Central Avenue.
