EDISON — In preparation for last week’s Presidential election, Bethany Howell read “Duck for President” to the Kindergarten and first grade classes at The Wardlaw-Hartridge School on Nov. 6. In the story, Duck becomes frustrated with chores and runs for office. He soon realizes that it’s easier being a duck than being in charge. After reading the book, the youngsters cast their own ballots. In the Kindergarten class, Farmer Brown won; the first graders elected Duck. (Photo courtesy of Wardlaw-Hartridge School)
