RAHWAY – The city is still operating under a state of emergency and a 9 p.m. curfew remains in effect, the Rahway Office of Emergency Management announced today.
According to city officials, PSE&G and city work crews are making progress in restoring power and clearing fallen trees. Power has been restored to between 60 and 70 percent of the city as of Monday afternoon, officials estimate.
The Rahway Office of Emergency Management has asked residents to be patient as the process continues.
