PISCATWAY — The Watoto Children’s Choir will present its production of “Beautiful Africa: A New Generation” on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 485 Hoes Lane, Piscataway.
The concert features vibrant, original African music, dance routines and life-transforming stories. Watoto Children’s Choirs have traveled globally since 1994 as ambassadors for the millions of children in Africa orphaned as a result of HIV/AIDS, war and poverty. Each of the children in the choir has suffered the loss of one or both parents. They live in Watoto Children’s Villages in Africa where they receive the care and nurture they need to grow up as productive citizens.
Concert admission is free; a love offering will be received during the concert to support the Watoto ministry.
