Elizabeth Moves Closer To Regaining Power

ELIZABETH — PSE&G reports that all the substations serving Elizabeth, with the exception of Bayway’s, are now up and running, city officials announced Thursday afternoon.

Circuits from the substations feed the transformers through power lines. Utility crews are working to untangle and repair the lines block-by-block based on severity of damage.

If you have fallen power lines on your street,  you need to call 1-800-436-7734 or go to pseg.com to report the outage and the downed line. Not reporting may delay your repairs.
