Metuchen School Gains New Assistant Principal

METUCHEN — Brooke Kirschner joined the Metuchen Public Schools on Oct. 15 as assistant principal at Campbell School.

She began her career in education teaching sixth grade in the Elizabeth Public School District, before moving on to teaching second and fourth grades in Green Brook. For the past five years, she had been employed by the Franklin Township Public School District, and had served as a Math Coach, Supervisor of NCLB/Testing, and most recently, Intermediate School Vice Principal.

Kirschner earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Rutgers University, and two Masters’ Degrees from Kean University, in Instruction and Curriculum and in Educational Administration. She lives in Marlboro with her husband and son.
