CRANFORD — The township’s curfew will be lifted this evening, Cranford police announced. Residents are still urged to use caution due to numerous fallen trees and wires.

As of 1:45 p.m., PSE&G reported that between 5,001 and 10,000 customers were still without electricity.

Due to storm damage and the danger from down trees and wires, trick or treating is cancelled today and postponed until Monday, Nov. 5.

City Hall and municipal court will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 1.

Cranford Public Schools and St. Michaels School will be closed for the remainder of the week.
