One choice can change many lives... Faith or Fate by John Ruggiero

RAHWAY — Vehicle traffic in Rahway is currently restricted to first responders and Department of Public Works staff because of dangerous conditions, officials announced Tuesday morning.  Violators will be subject to having their vehicles impounded.

The city is in a rescue and recovery mode, and residents are asked not to call the police department unless it is an emergency.

There is currently no timetable for power restoration. As of 9:30 a.m., PSE&G reported that more than 10,000 customers were without power in Rahway.
