TRENTON – The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has reopened Outerbridge Crossing, George Washington, Goethals and Bayonne bridges. However, officials are urging all motorists to avoid driving unless absolutely necessary.
Port Authority staff and engineers are on site at all Port Authority facilities to inspect conditions and assess damage. Their primary goal is to ensure the safety of workers and those who use their facilities. The Port Authority will resume operations at our other facilities as early as possible and when it is safe to do so.
