CLARK — Ninth grade students in Ms. Whittemore’s class at Arthur L. Johnson High School enjoyed sharing their “Children’s Stories” that were modeled after Edgar Allan Poe’s famous poem “Annabel Lee.”  The stories needed to follow the tragic plot of two lovers separated due to tragic circumstances. The stories had main characters such as two broccoli heads, two aliens in love in outer space, milk and cookies, peanut butter and jelly, and two French fries. Each story recounted the loss of a loved one and many ended with the two lovers reuniting at last. Pictured above are Patrick Hak and the rest of Ms. Whittemore’s second period class.
