CRANFORD — As of 9:30 a.m., PSE&G reported that between 5,001 and 10,000 Cranford customers remained without power.
Cranford Public School will be closed Wednesday, Oct. 31.
Residents are asked to limit calls to the police and fire departments to emergencies only. If you have already reported wires or trees down, there is no need to call them in again. Cranford officials have a list of over 700 locations with wires and trees down.
Despite the major wind damage and power outages, there was no flooding within the entire township.
Officials have confirmed with New Jersey American Water that there are no water restrictions or issues affecting the township.
