Rahway Experiencing Large Areas Of Power Outages

RAHWAY — The City of Rahway experienced large areas of power outages due to falling tree limbs, according to the Rahway Police Department. Officials are advising residents to prepare for extended outages.

PSE&G reported approximately 36,000 power outages throughout the state at 3 p.m. and expected that number to increase with Hurricane Sandy moving closer. The utility was reporting between 501 and 2,000 outages in Rahway, the highest concentration in Union County.
