Cranford Bans Unecessary Travel, Institutes 7 p.m. Curfew

CRANFORD — The Township of Cranford has declared a local state of emergency due to Hurricane Sandy.

This declaration sets the following regulations:

  1. EVACUATION: A mandatory evacuation as set forth in the Township of Cranford flood evacuation map to be completed by noon today.
  2. TRAVEL BAN: All non-essential motor vehicle traffic is prohibited from local roads and streets effective as of noon Monday, Oct. 29, until further notice.
  3. CURFEW: A curfew is in effect from 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29,  to 7 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30.
