CRANFORD – Union County College’s Men’s Soccer team has had a very successful season. On Wednesday, Oct. 17, they won the Garden State Athletic Conference after they defeated The County College of Morris by a score of 1-0. Yvener Guerrier scored the winning goal. They finished their GSAC season with a 16-1-2 record and 11-1 in the Region XIX.
On Tuesday, Oct. 23, the Owls competed in the Region XIX Semi-Finals at home and defeated Montgomery County College with a 4-0 win.
The team has now advanced to the Region XIX Finals. They are #2 seed and will play #3 seed Ocean County College on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012. The game will be held at Ocean and will begin at 2:30 p.m.
