PERTH AMBOY – Kurt Rebovich Jr. resigned his seat on the Perth Amboy Board of Education effective Nov. 16 last week. He said that he is stepping down because he accepted a job that will not allow him to remain in the elected office.
Rebovich thanked Perth Amboy residents who put their faith in him by voting for him in 2010 in a farewell letter published by the Amboy Guardian.
