ROSELLE – Police arrested a 63-year-old Roselle man Friday following a raid on a Sheridan Avenue home in response to citizen complains about drug use and distribution in the residential area.

Norman N. Worley was charged with drug possession and distribution and distribution within a school zone and park zone. He was being held on $50,000 cash bail pending a court date.

At 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 19, members of the Linden and Roselle Police Departments’ Narcotics Squads raided a house on the 900 block of Sheridan Avenue in Roselle following a month-long investigation.

Detectives seized 26 glassine folds of heroin, valued at $1,500; $514 in cash, suspected drug sales proceeds; and a 2006 Chevy HHR vehicle, officials said.
