David Lopez-Cortes, 27, of Carteret and Tomas H. Vega, 40, of Perth Amboy were both charged with possession of over five ounces of cocaine with the intent to distribute, conspiracy to distribute cocaine and related charges after detectives observed them engaging in an alleged narcotic transaction in the parking lot of the Dunkin Donuts on Fayette Street at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 19. Police seized 310 grams of cocaine, $388 in cash and the vehicles the two men were driving.
