Friends of the Clark Public Library Seek Donations for Book Sale
CLARK — Preparations are underway for the Friends of the Clark Public Library book sale. Donations of gently used hardcover and paperback books are being accepted. Magazines, encyclopedias, and textbooks will not be accepted.
All donations benefit the Clark Public Library. Donations may be dropped off inside the library during regular business hours from now until Nov. 3. The book sale will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 18 from 1-4 p.m. in the Ayers Room at the Library.
2012 Library Advocate Award
Patty Anderson, Director of the Clark Public Library presents the 2012 Library Advocate Award to Henry Varriano, on behalf of the Libraries of Union County. Henry has been a dedicated supporter of the library for many years. A reception honoring award winners was held at the Elizabeth Public Library earlier this month.
2012 Business Support Award
Clark Councilwoman Angel Albanese (pictured on left) presents the 2012 Business Support Award to Provident Bank at the annual Libraries of Union County Reception. Pictured with Ms. Albanese (left to right) is Paula Palermo, Area Manager, Tracey Barr, Branch Manager and Robert Vivo, Jr., Regional Vice President. Provident Bank was the lead donor for the Clark Public Library’s Capital Campaign.
