SPRINGFIELD –Horizon NJ Health participated in the James Caldwell Elementary School Fall Festival in Springfield on Saturday, Oct. 13. Throughout the day, event goers stopped by the Horizon NJ Health (HNJH) Care-A-Van for free blood pressure and glucose screenings, as well as an opportunity to spin the HNJH Health Education Wheel for a chance to win a plush animal version of Horizon NJ Health’s canine mascot named NJ.

In addition to the screenings, Horizon NJ Health staff was on site educating people on its fitness program called Dancing for Your Health – a nationally recognized program aimed at encouraging people of all ages to use dance as an easy, fun and no-cost form of exercise. The HNJH staff got the crowd together to participate in some popular line dances like the Cha-Cha Slide and the Cupid Shuffle, among others.
