PERTH AMBOY – Three McGinnis Middle School students came to the aid of a 14-month-old girl who had wandered away from her grandmother’s Perth Amboy home Tuesday, according to a report by CBS New York.

Danni Canela, 13, Christopher Angeles, 13, and Angelina Moreta, 12, were walking home from school when they saw the toddler, who had fallen on Market Street and was bleeding from her mouth. The teens grabbed the girl and asked a crossing guard for help, according to the report.

The toddler, who had been gone from her home for less than 10 minutes, was reunited with her grandmother. Police found no one at fault, according to the report.
