Learn About The Lives And Music Of Al Jolson And Eddie Cantor At JCC Lecture

HIGHLAND PARK — The JCC of Middlesex County is well-known for its outstanding lectures for adults and seniors. As part of an outreach effort the JCC is offering LECTURES IN HIGHLAND PARK for adults and seniors with inquisitive minds and an interest in learning new things. Lectures take place in the community room at River Ridge, 30 South Adelaide Avenue.

On Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 1 p.m. musician, band leader and raconteur David Aaron will present “The Lives and Music of Al Jolson and Eddie Cantor.” Seen in the context of the times in which they lived, you’ll gain new insights and appreciation for these two American music icons.

Cost for the program is $8 for JCC members and $10 for non-members. Pre-registration is strongly requested. To register, send your check, made payable to JCC, and send it along with the names and phone numbers of those attending to: Jewish Community Center of Middlesex County, 1775 Oak Tree Road, Edison, NJ 08820. Write “David Aaron in HP” in the memo section.
