Clark Third Graders Practice Their Writing By Crafting “Friendship Recipes”

CLARK — Third graders in Miss Parlavecchio’s language arts literacy class at the Frank K. Hehnly School in Clark have been practicing their writing skills. After Unity Day at the school, the third graders created their own “Friendship Recipe.” Each student thought about their best friend and found adjectives to describe important aspects of a friendship. The girls wrote things such as “1/2 a cup of kindness.” The following week the girls learned about nouns.
