ELIZABETH — Visitors to NJTODAY.NET prefer President Barack Obama to his Republican challenger Willard “Mitt” Romney by better than a 2-to-1 margin, according to an unscientific poll.

From Oct. 4-17, 2,535 responses were recorded in our poll, with 1,683 choosing Obama, 729 selecting Romney and 123 proclaiming that they were undecided.

NJTODAY.NET readers are currently invited to tell us who they prefer in New Jersey’s U.S. Senate contest: Democrat Bob Menendez or his Republican challenger Joe Kyrillos.
