NEW BRUNSWICK — The Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex Vicinage will present a workshop on divorce procedures Monday, Oct. 22 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Family Courthouse, first floor, 120 New St., New Brunswick.
The workshop will provide participants with information on the divorce complaint process, rights and procedures when filing a complaint, courtroom procedures, the process for child support and alimony, filing of motions and the custody and economic mediation program. Forms and brochures about the divorce process will be available.
Because this is an informational workshop, no individual cases can be discussed or resolved.
Panelists will include Presiding Superior Court Family Judge Deborah J. Venezia; Russ Gale of New Jersey Legal Services, Inc.; matrimonial attorney Ellen Schwartz; Dean Smith of the family division’s custody and economic mediation program; Charlene Cumberbatch of the child support unit; Wilda Irizarry of the family division matrimonial unit and court librarian Betty Agin.
