“As Time Goes By” At The Cranford Community Center

CRANFORD—The Friends of the Cranford Public Library will sponsor “As Time Goes By,” a blend of scenes, songs, and the humor of Lily Tomlin, Thornton Wilder, Neil Simon, Erma Bombeck, and more, on Monday, Oct. 29, at 7:30 p.m. in the Cranford Community Center, 220 Walnut Avenue.

Admission to the program is free but tickets are required. Tickets may be picked up at the Cranford Public Library Reference Desk. The library is located at 224 Walnut Avenue. There is a limit of two tickets per person. The performance will feature Emmy Award winning actress Elaine Bromka and veteran actor Reathel Bean.

Bromka has appeared in films such as Uncle Buck and Without a Trace, on television, and on Broadway in The Rose Tattoo and I’m Not Rappaport. Reathel Bean has appeared on Broadway in Our Town and Inherit the Wind, in numerous feature films, and on television.

This marks Ms. Bromka’s second visit to Cranford, where she presented a one-woman show entitled “Lady Bird, Pat & Betty: Tea for Three” in June 2011. For more information about the program, call the Cranford Public Library at 1-908-709-7272.
