Shafeeq Ibraheem
EDISON — Shafeeq Ibraheem of Piscataway, a junior at The Wardlaw-Hartridge School in Edison, received a certificate and cash award for winning the 2012 Art Lit competition.
Ibraheem’s essay “Maus I: A Survivor’s Tale,” won first place in a contest with more than 400 teen literary entries.
The Al-Rawija Foundation and a review committee comprised of novelists and post-graduate students of English Literature from Harvard University congratulate Ibraheem on his accomplishment.
