CLARK — Students in Brian Kenyon’s Business Management class at Arthur L Johnson High School in Clark got a taste of how to compete successfully in international business by researching and presenting on how one should act and interact with businesspeople from other countries. The students chose a country and then researched about how a person from the US would do business in that country. They learned about topics such as when the business day started and ended, the kind of gifts that were appropriate and not appropriate to bring, what they should expect when having a meeting with a businessperson from another country, among other things. They then presented their findings in PowerPoint presentations to the class, giving all the pertinent information the other students should know when doing business in their country.
