CLARK — Students in Miss Franko’s sixth grade science class at Carl H. Kumpf Middle School in Clark began to really feel like scientists this past week. They have recently been learning about the metric system and how to measure different things in the lab. Specifically in their recent lab activity the students practiced measuring volume using a graduated cylinder. This activity assessed their ability to follow directions, work as a group, and measure correctly. When the students were asked how they felt about the activity many said that it was fun and exciting to apply what they have been learning about through performing a lab.
