Just a quick note to give a HUGE SHOUT OUT to the Linden High School Marching Band!!! They really, really ROCKED it up in Basking Ridge on Saturday evening. They had some tough competition especially from Nutley and some of the other bands in their category, and they just really shined! I grew up in Warren (went to Watchung Hills many years ago) and my niece plays the horn for the Ridge Marching Band (the hosts, so not competing) so I don’t have any particular loyalty to Linden – they were just such a class act and I wanted to let them know – they, their parents, and their school should be very proud!!
