One choice can change many lives... Faith or Fate by John Ruggiero

EDISON – Something new is coming to Edison and the whole family is invited. The Township will celebrate autumn with a brand new event on Saturday, Oct. 27. The Harvest Festi-Fall will take place from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Elder Park, 1070 Grove Avenue, with a variety of activities for the entire family.

Food and craft vendors, kids’ games and pumpkin painting will all be part of this new event along with the “Driftwoods” playing 60s music and a DJ energizing the crowd with dance contests for young and old.

Highlighting the “Fest” will be three contests that will interest everyone. You can show off your baking skills at the “Best Apple Pie Contest”. Judged by a few of Edison’s top bakers, they will decide on the top pie. The whole family can get involved in the “Scarecrow Building Contest”. You bring the clothing and we will supply the straw. The most interesting contest will be the “Pet/Person Contest”. You and your pet will dress up for our judged costume parade. This will surely highlight the day.

Add a petting zoo, moon bounce and magic show and this promises to be a great day for everyone.

If you are a vendor, exhibitor or need information, call Edison Recreation at 1-732-248-7314.
