CLARK — Autumn is officially here and just about everybody seems to be picking something, whether it is an apple, a pumpkin, or an SAT testing date. Students in Ms. Hamilton’s 11th grade classes at Arthur L. Johnson High School in Clark have begun the SAT preparation by enhancing their vocabulary. Students are reminded that a stronger vocabulary will help them to enhance their writing as well as their reading comprehension. Ms. Hamilton’s students are given a list of vocabulary words each week and are quizzed on each set of words. By the time the SAT hits, she is confident that her students will perform better with this additional knowledge.
